|Intro|

I am a reborn action figure collector. What that means(I think) is that I used to collect, then quit, and just recently picked up that hobby again. My family and I have been living in Canberra since Dec 2007.

|Of Childhood|
Growing up I was blessed with, and still am, with wonderful parents whom provided me with lots of action figures. The first of which was a Star Wars Ewok figure. From there I had He-Man, Centurions, M.A.S.K, Transformers, Marvel, T.M.N.T and numerous Matchbox cars to name a few. My favourites would still have to be a very rubbery articulated Iron Man, the Turtle Blimp and He-Man's battlecat. It was fun back then but I lost interest when I entered upper secondary . Not to mention it was a time when my parents stopped buying action figures for me and focused on my other 3 younger siblings. I also vaguely remember when I quit collecting, it was a time when action figures weren't the best in terms of quality and shops that used to carry those toys were closing down. But don't get me wrong. I did not forsake the world of superheroes. It was still a part of my life in the form of comic books. Thus my passion towards my all time hero(or anti-hero depending who you are), Lobo the bounty hunter.

|Of Marriage & Moving|
I got married in Oct 2007 to one of the most wonderful, understanding person I've ever met. A day after our marriage she got the call to work in the Brunei Embassy stationed in Canberra, Australia. So I decided to quit my job and move with her to Aussie. 9 months later after moving to Australia, our daughter was born on 10 August 2008.

|Of Present|
Fast forward, it has been almost 18 years since I had my last action figure, now I've started all over again. I'd like to thank my pal Kal-El from The House of El for re-introducing me to the world of action figures. It is a good time to start collecting again. There are a LOT of options and fortunately I'm not picky. I'll pick up almost anything so long as I can afford it. Toy companies are also getting more and more competitive in terms of quality. This is always good for the collectors in general.

In Brunei, well, from what I've read in blogs anyway, the number of collectors are increasing and thankfully, shops are starting to take notice of this trend and have tried to cater to their passions. I've met quite a few Bruneians(through their blogs) who are into collecting toys, be they Marvel or Anime or Model Cars.

Within the first 6 months I was here I started off with Star Wars figures and vehicles and later moved on to Marvel & DC 6" figures. This blog serves as a place where I share my collections with other collectors in Brunei and everywhere else. I do my so-called review pre-amatuerish at best. It is more of a learning process rather than an actual review-and-teach-you kind of thing. There are a lot of toy review sites(more proper, professional and damn right Gurus of toys) that even I can't get enough of.

So if you happened to stumble on my blog by accident, it's alright. I won't tell anyone. LoL. But thank you anyway for visiting. Lastly, keep collecting guys & gals.
