DC Direct : All Star Super Lois

This figure is based on the award winning, All Star: Superman by DC Comics. I still need to collect the Superman figure if I can still find it. Much thanks has to go to Kal-El of The House of El for sharing with me the first few issues of the series. Super Lois is taken from when Superman gave Lois super powers for 24 hrs as a birthday gift. Now that is a very cool birthday gift.

Marvel Select, Captain America(Unmasked Variant)

I did a review for this figure a few months back. You can read it here. I have since after the review traded that figure for the chase or variant figure. It's the unmasked version which is still the same(sculpt & accessory wise) except for the mask. I decided I just wanted something different though the face bears no resemblance to Bucky Barnes whatsoever. He actually kinda look like Steve Rogers though...

Hellboy Vs. Hellboy

Or Mezco Vs. Gentle Giant Ltd. to be more exact. I finally took out the Hellboy that I got 2 weeks ago. Here for comparison are the two Hellboy from 2 different companies. The other is from Mezco, Hellboy Movie line. For simplicity sake I'll refer to them as H.M(Mezco) and H.G(Gentle Giant).

Gentle Giant Ltd.

The H.G sculpt is decent overall. The details on the belt and its accessories is very nice. Plus, the character being red and all, I wasn't expecting anyone to mess up with the paint job. The articulation is also very good. Very poseable and playable. Die hard fans would complain that this figure must have or should have the trench coat. I don't mind either way. This figure comes with two alternate hands.

Mezco

I thought the rough texture on the Right Hand of Doom for the H.M. is believable. The color seems more darker and really looks more like stone. The trench coat is non-removable(not that I've really tried). The handle on the gun is very detailed up to the logo of the B.P.R.D.

As you can see the figure from Mezco is bigger but the one from Gentle Giant Ltd. is more size appropriate with my Marvel Legend figures. Overall, I really can't decide which is better...and it looks like Spidey can't also.
