DC Direct : Wonder Woman Series 1, Circe

This figure is one of four figures in the W.W. Series 1. People have always pondered as to why the Amazing Amazon is not as popular as Superman and Batman even when she is on par in terms of strength and presence. Personally I've always been intrigued by her character. It all falls down to who is the writer. Take for example the graphic novel Wonder Woman: A League of One. Now that was some wicked storytelling.

Aside from all that, I was thrilled when I managed to get the whole set last year. For today its just Circe. The inscription at the back of the box: "Taking advantage of Diana Prince's absence, long-time Wonder Woman enemy Circe captures Donna Troy and steals away the many powers possessed by Wonder Woman"

With all that red/violet hair she looks like an anime character doesn't she?
