Holiday Shopping

The holiday season is the happiest time for Action Figure collectors. Its the time shops do BIG discounts and stock clearance of our much loved Action Figures. Especially big shopping department stores.

I've managed to benefit from this in the past month like the time Toys r' Us did a huge sale on the Millennium Falcon (more than half price!!). Sometimes you're lucky enough to find a sale on a last item they have in stock. I've managed to buy these stuff more than 5 times already.

Recently, I managed to grab these 3 things(amongst other little stuffs which I won't put in). But these 3 I thought to be the 'jewel' in my findings.

Why I choose these 3 to be my pride and joy findings? Simply because:


Star Wars Endor AT-AT:

• I haven't seen it before in the shops because its a 2006 model.
  
• It's huge and I think Alisha can ride it when she's old enough.
• I've only seen it online on ebay, amazon and other online retailers.
• Its worth AUD 90 (auction price) on ebay and USD 160 to USD 290 from online retailers. And this is minus shipping.
• I bought it for AUD 59 at K-Mart(last item!)

Marvel 12" Iron Man & Thor:

• It's 12" and it's NOT a doll.
  
• It's Iron Man!
• It's freakin' Thor!!!
• Retail price for the Iron Man is AUD 40 - 59.
  
• Thor is AUD 34 - 45 (I'm assuming from the 12" Punisher which is still available at the stores)
• I checked on Amazon for these figures and its USD 24.99 to 127.99 (huh? really?) - Iron Man, USD 30 - Thor.
• I got it for AUD 15 - Iron Man, AUD 9.50 - Thor.
